Hi,
Does anybody know if and when season 7 will be released on DVD (here in the UK, or elsewhere?)
I find it strange that it isn't on DVD yet when season 8 has already aired over here. I hope it will be released as I haven't seen it yet, if I can't get 7 or 8 I'm doomed!!!

I can't seem to find out anything about release dates either. I'd have thought it would coincide with series 8 being on tv or maybe the Christmas rush but haven't heard anything!
I mean its bad enough having to wait basically a year between series but to then not have the dvds aswell - tragic!

It really is tragic!
I can't even find season 7 to download, but I'm dying to see the last two series as I missed them on television, don't know what to do!!

Wasn't it on here that I read that because of some guy suing the BBC about a character that they were not going to release it on DVD.

That was just me speculating about why they haven't released series 7. They can't very well say we're sorry about how we portrayed the guy and still keep portraying him the same way. I think they never should have apologized to him without getting him to put in writing that he wouldn't continue to make trouble over it. That's still all just my guess work.

I think its rubbish that they aren't releasing them on DVD, makes no sense! I manged to get season 7 online but can find nothing for 8, not even any torrents to download it! If anybody knows of anyone who sells copies of it I'd be glad to pay for one!! Don't know how I can cope not being able to see season 8 at all! Eeekkk!!

I heard on another forum that the reason series 7 hasn't been released could be that the company responsible for the DVDs, 2 Entertain, has gone into administration. So I guess until the BBC decide on another manufacturer/distributor (not sure which!), we won't see a release....

There is a Series Seven DVD released in the Netherlands. The audio is in English with Dutch subtitles. It is something at least.
